region. From
our spacious and authentic
gîte you have a wonderful view on the wide hills
and estates.
Our gîte is a fine starting point for visits to numerous Roman
sites, or a hiking or bicycle tour.
The area is full of typical small villages and the region is
the centre of gastronomy and fine wines. Beaune, Mâcon, Nuits-Saint-Georges,
just to name a few of the world famous wines, are all within
an hour drive. Nearby sites of interest are Cluny, Tournus and
Cormatin.
If you love culture and quietness, a stay at our guest house
is a perfect place to start your holiday. Children also love
to be here, as there is plenty of room to play in and around
the house.
We will be delighted to welcome you in Bierre, whether you’d
like to book for just one night, a week or more, and we’ll do
anything to make sure you’ll have a pleasant stay.
 We are a mixed French-Dutch family, and we speak English,
German and Italian as well. We live next to the gîte and are
available for any question or advice to make your stay
pleasant.
